Faculty of Physician Associates virtual AGM 2022

The Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA), virtual annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on Monday 14 March 2022 at 5.30pm–7pm.

Registration is open now.

The (AGM) is open to FPA members only and is free to attend. It is the perfect opportunity to understand the FPA Board's key aims and objectives for 2022.

Following on from the annual virtual FPA conference, which was attended by over 800 delegates, the AGM will take place virtually. A virtual event offers all members across the four nations the opportunity to attend and engage with ease. There will be the opportunity for members to engage with the FPA and ask any questions.

Registration

We are pleased to share that registration for the AGM is now open. As the AGM is open to FPA members only, you will be required to register ahead of the day

Please remember to use the email address associated with your MyRCP account to book your place. Only those emails related to a valid FPA membership will be able to book to attend the AGM.

AGM agenda

  • a review of 2021 – working against the FPA strategy
  • planning for 2022 – what is in store for us?
  • Q&A from the membership – discussing your issues
  • matters for membership voting
  • terms of office for president and vice president
  • the FPA proposal and rationale will be sent out to members in advance of the AGM
  • any other business
  • close of AGM.

Virtual AGM format

The format of the AGM this year will be a one-way video stream of addresses and updates to members accessible through the RCP Player, followed by a live Q&A session and voting. Those wishing to attend would, therefore, need to have a suitable electronic device and adequate internet access. As the AGM is open to FPA members only, members will need to register ahead of the day, details for which will be sent out shortly.

Members in attendance will be able to submit written questions during the meeting, which will be put to the panel during the live Q&A.  Please note that we will use email and other electronic methods to update you on meeting arrangements, so please do keep checking your inbox. This will include the following: joining instructions, reminders and details, on how to submit questions online – before and during the meeting.

AGM advance questions and issues

Please feel free to submit any advance questions to the FPA Executive team or general concerns in advance of the AGM to [email protected]. We will endeavour to answer all questions received (including those submitted on the day through virtual systems) at the AGM or post-meeting should there be too many to respond to during the meeting.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the FPA team on [email protected].
