The Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) – meet the FPA president and vice president #PAWeekUK2022
On 1 August 2022, the FPA welcomed the new president, Jamie Saunders, and vice president, Chandran Louis. Jamie will serve a 3-year term, while Chandran will serve a 4-year term.
To celebrate Physician Associate (PA) Awareness Week and to allow FPA members to get to know Jamie and Chandran better, they both took the time to answer some questions – including why they decided to run for FPA presidency.

Mental health and wellbeing as a PA are vitally important. During PA Awareness Week, we will be highlighting the importance and sharing an exclusive mental health guidance note with all FPA members. We also caught up with Jamie and Chandran to learn more how they look after their mental health and wellbeing as PAs.
